Fabric for a bag or pouch
For a bag or pouch, it's best to use non-stretch fabrics, such as cotton or canvas. The thicker the fabric, the sturdier it will be. If you want a sturdy bag, choose a strong canvas or gabardine. If you prefer a less stiff fabric, opt for a nice poplin cotton or cotton sateen.
